Salt Lake City-Alexandra Misrasi Sims, better known by everyone as Allie or A, this elegant lady 84, passed away Monday February 8, 2010 from complications of Alzheimer’s. Allie was born in Bear River City, Utah, on May 22, 1925. A daughter of George and Vanthia Misrasi. She was reared in Tremonton, graduating from Bear River High School in 1943. She completed Stevens Henager Secretarial Course. She was employed by Union Pacific Rail Road as a telegrapher and retired after 40 years of service. She married Robert Sims in 1985, and was later divorced. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and traveling, a highlight being a 3 month trip to Europe Italy in 1950. She was a faithful Catholic at St. Henrys in Brigham City and Salt Lake City Utah. She is survived by six loving brothers and sisters; Tess Misrasi, Phoenix, Arizona; Pete Misrasi, Tremonton; Peggy Boucher, Overland Park, Kansas; Melba Benson, Brigham City; Manuel Misrasi, Tremonton, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews. A special Niece Holly Peters whom shared many happy times with her. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter Misrasi and Lewis Misrasi; Sister Marcetta Misrasi. Allie will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to others. Funeral Mass will be held, Friday February 12, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Santa Ana Church 760 W 600 N Tremonton Utah. There will be a viewing Thursday evening 6-8 pm at Rudd Funeral Home 1234 S Main Garland Utah.
