Amie Dawn (Israelsen) Irwin

August 31, 1976 — May 13, 2024

Amie Dawn Israelsen Irwin, age 47, passed away on May 13, 2024, after an inspiring and courageous three-year long battle with stage 4 breast cancer.

Born on August 31, 1976, Amie truly touched the lives of those around her with her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Despite facing the challenges of her illness, Amie showed what unwavering faith looks like as she remained a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Amie embodied kindness and compassion. Her selflessness and generosity knew no bounds, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of friends and family alike. Amie’s memory is imprinted upon the many trails she hiked, the firesides she shared, the beaches she walked, and the quiet times of reflection while enjoying the sun’s warmth as she listened to the aspen leaves flutter in the wind.  Her legacy of unconditional love will be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in her journey.

Amie is survived by her loving family, including her husband and love of her life Thomas, her boys Brayden (Ruby) and Trevon, and her newest loves, her grandchildren Teagan and Astrid.  She is also survived by her mom Jillene (Phil), sisters Robyn (Scott), Stacey (Brent) and Melissa (Adan), brothers Chad (Whitney) and Drew (Rachel), father-in-law William, sisters-in-law Karen, Natalie (Malae), Lois (Bruno) Angie (Jesse) as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her dad Robert, niece Noel, mother-in-law Connie, and brothers-in-law Allen and Scott.

Amie’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her strength will continue to inspire generations to come.

Amie’s family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Gray, Dr. Fisher and their teams, as well as all the other doctors and nurses at Ogden Regional who so diligently and lovingly cared for Amie during her fight.
