Autumn Westergard Rogers, 51, passed away at the University of Utah Hospital from multiple organ failure.
She was born November 3, 1972, to Jay and RoWane Westergard. She graduated from Bear River High School in 1990, and then attended Snow College under a choir scholarship. Autumn was very vocally talented and loved to perform with her sister Lyn Austin Maupin. Autumn not only loved singing but she also loved the theater. Whether she was the lead in a play or behind the scenes, her love was noticed by all. When she wasn’t working on a new song or a new show she was often found reading. She could devour a book in no time and be on to the next.
Autumn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She married John Schweppe and had two children, Trey and Stormi. They later divorced. Autumn married Andrew Rogers, they later divorced. Autumn found the most joy in her children, she loved spending time with them and taking them on camping trips to Island Park, Idaho. Autumn worked as a waitress for many years and loved to serve others, she was always willing to meet new people and make them feel special. Autumn had a heart of gold and always saw the best in others.
Autumn is survived by: her son Trey Schweppe, daughter Stormi Schweppe, granddaughter Anabelle Melton, brother Blair (Kelli) Westergard, sister in-law Shanna Westergard, brother in-law Butch Maupin. Many nieces and nephews and best friend Erica Fritzgerald.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jay and RoWane Westergard, Lyn Austin Maupin (sister), Cole Westergard (brother), and Kerry Austin (brother in-law).
Celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 6:00-7:00pm at the East Garland Park (14400 North 4400 West Garland, Utah).
