Barbara Grover, age 86, of East Garland, Utah, peacefully passed away at her home on May 18, 2026. Born on February 26, 1940, to Jasper and Donna Shaffer, Barbara grew up in East Garland and left school after the 10th grade to marry her beloved husband, Steve L. Grover, on June 11, 1956.

Barbara dedicated over a decade to working at La-Z-Boy, but her most cherished role was that of Home Specialist, where she wholeheartedly nurtured her family and created a welcoming sanctuary for all who entered her home. Her warmth and hospitality were a testament to her loving spirit.

An exceptional seamstress, Barbara possessed a deep passion for quilting, crocheting, knitting, and all forms of sewing. She also enjoyed puzzle building and delighted in baking, with her rolls, banana cream pie, and sugar cookies being family favorites.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Clair (Shirley), Craig (Pam), Karen (Kenny Jones), Julie (Richard Bott), Russell, Daron (Jess Dolce), and Shane (Patti), as well as her sister-in-law, Marie Grover Korth. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Grover; granddaughters, Bobbie Jo Grover and Misty Bott; her parents; and siblings Dean and Jolene Shaffer, and Richard and Sandra Shaffer.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Rudd Funeral Home in Tremonton, Utah. A viewing is scheduled from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. The service will be livestreamed on her obituary page at www.ruddfuneralhome.com. Interment will follow at East Garland Cemetery.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Primrose Hospice, as well as the many cousins and friends who visited regularly, bringing Barbara great joy. Her warm and generous nature touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished by many.
