Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bart Oyler, a beloved father, grandfather, family member, and friend. Bart passed away surrounded by his family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love.

Bart will be remembered for his generous heart, his sense of humor, and the way he made those around him feel welcomed and valued. Whether through his work, his friendships, or the time he spent camping with his family, he touched many lives and will be deeply missed.

Above all, Bart cherished his family. He was a devoted father whose love, guidance, and support will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. His wisdom, laughter, and countless memories will remain a lasting source of comfort. He loved camping, spending time with his kids, and spoiling his grandkids. He was all about making others feel loved, and valued, and always wanting to give.

Bart was born April 10th 1959, raised out on the family farm in East Garland. He graduated from Bear River High School in 1977. He worked for Thiokol for 30 plus years, while there worked on the propulsion systems for the shuttle program. He also served 30 plus as a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Tremonton Fire department. He found great joy in serving his community, and helping countless others stay safe. Since 2011, Bart worked for the STORM bowling company, while there he cultivated great relationships with his coworkers, and enjoyed contributing to the bowling ball industry. Bart enjoyed his time spent with his small business Pyro-Safe, working with businesses in his community and hosting booths at local events.

One of Bart’s greatest joys was his children and grandkids. He loved being able to spoil them around Christmas and on birthdays. He looked forward to summer where he could go camping with his family. His grandkids always knew that he had glowsticks and plenty of snacks.

Bart is survived by his mother, Rosie, his brothers Jeff (Sharri), Kirk (Stefanie), and sister, Lori (Shane), and his children Blake (Charlotte), Dustin, Kylie (Bj), Andrew, Tricia (Dallon). Great grandchildren Brylee, Chloe, Hadley, Dax, and Haidyn. Grand fur- babies Tyke, Lottie, Odin, and Tyr.

He is preceded in death by his father Roger, grandparents, and his baby sister.

Services will be held at the Rudd Funeral Home in Tremonton. 111 N. 100 E. Tremonton, Ut 84337. There will be a viewing Wednesday July 15th 6pm-8pm. Viewing for family and friends Thursday, July 16th 9am-10:30pm, followed by the funeral services held at 11am. Following the funeral, procession will proceed to the East Garland Cemetery located at 4805 w 14400 n Garland Utah, 84312. Followed by a family lunch at the East Garland Park.

Though Bart is no longer with us, his love and the memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.
