William (Billy, Bill) David Brandon

Billy was welcomed Home on Saturday, November 25, 2023 due to kidney failure and a subsequent overwhelming infection at the age of 58. Bill was born in Glendora, California. After he and his family joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1976 they moved to Fielding, Utah along with his Grandma Kline. Billy lived with his Grandma after his mother and sisters returned to California.

When his Grandma passed away Billy was left in Fielding and ended up living with his new family. David and Ruby Scott welcomed him into their home and treated him as their own son. He worked with and learned much about hard work as he helped his big brother, Danny Scott, build houses.

He served an honorable mission in the Indianapolis, Indiana mission and he continued being a devoted missionary throughout his life.

Bill married and adopted 9 children and took in four nephews.

He worked hard at many jobs. He loved his time as a construction manager at the Micron plants in Lehi, Utah and in Virginia. Because of his extraordinary ability to remember every detail, he was the go-to guy for all the other managers and employees whenever questions arose. He helped build and worked at Steelhead Powder Coating in Salt Lake City until his health became too compromised.

His second marriage was to his sweetheart, Trisha Henson. They were sealed in the Oquirrh Mountain temple on March 1, 2014. Bill tenderly cared for his beautiful wife Trisha at their home in Farmington, Utah until her death on February 2, 2018. He has stayed close to her parents, Dean and Dlorah Henson.

He met and married Lori Bolander and lived in Idaho with her until October of this year and his last several weeks were spent living with Danny and Nancy Scott in Fielding.

Billy had so many friends all of whom he considered as part of his family. His love of people was evident everywhere he went. Whether someone was a waiter in a restaurant, a nurse or anyone else he came in contact with he always asked their name, where they were from, and any other questions he had for them.

He has a powerful testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which he frequently shared. He loves his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, his family, his friends and this Country.

Most of his phone calls ended with, “Love you.”, and he meant it.

Bill would love to have you share your love with everyone you know and meet just as he did.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11 A.M. Viewings will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 from 6-8 P.M. and prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 A.M. All services will be held at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N 100 E- Tremonton). Interment and a small graveside will take place at approximately 1 P.M. in the Farmington Cemetery, Farmington, Utah (500 S 200 E, Farmington). The service will be livestreamed and may be accessed below.
