Bracken Ronald Petersen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bracken Ronald Petersen, 30, of Tremonton, UT, on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023. He was born in Brigham City, UT on January 18th, 1993, to Michelle Selman and Kenny Petersen. 

From the moment he was born, everyone loved Bracken. His smile and spirit would light up any room. Bracken was a remarkable father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend. He made everyone around him laugh, and would immediately find a connection with anyone he met. 

Bracken grew up in Malad, Idaho and Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Weber High School in 2011, and pursued a career path in excavation with his dad, Daryl. Bracken raised many animals while he lived in Malad, and every animal he ever met loved him instantly. Bracken had a love for speed, doing anything that he could to shift gears. He spent his free time working on his cars, riding dirtbikes, or anything to do with a motor. He also spent time making friends online, making anyone who played video games with him laugh and have a great time. 

Bracken is survived and remembered by his darlin’, Breeana Carlson; His parents, Michelle and Daryl Fullmer; His son, Jerimyah; His bonus children, LivyAnn, Xander, and Archer; His siblings, Stacy Ortiz and Baylie and Keith Petrone; His nieces and nephews, Kanye, Kelis, and Kambrie Ortiz and Paxton Petrone; And endless aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends. Bracken was welcomed into heaven by his father, Kenny; His best buddy, Scooter; His grandparents, Louise (Thorpe) Lokken, Ed Selman, Ronald and Maxine Petersen, Earleen Fullmer, and Wayde Fullmer; and aunts, uncles, and friends. 

Services for Bracken are being held on Saturday, December 30th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, at 111 N 100 E, Tremonton, UT 84337. A viewing will be held at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. The service will be livestreamed and may be accessed below.
