Brenda Jean (Delaney) Kilburn

Brenda Jean (Delaney) Kilburn, aged 66, passed away on July 17, 2025, in Elwood, Utah. She was born on March 28, 1959, in Gillette, Wyoming, to Edward Delaney and Nancy Delaney.

Brenda shared a loving marriage with John Fredrick Kilburn, whom she married on May 19, 1979. John sadly preceded her in death on May 25, 2023. Throughout her life, Brenda called various places home, including Utah, North Dakota, and Wyoming, and she cherished her time spent in these communities.

She attended high school in Gillette, Wyoming, and went on to work in several roles including at Walmart photo lab, Tire Lube Express and as a cashier at Chevron. Brenda’s dedication to her work was matched by her passion for crafting; she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, as well as spending quiet moments immersed in books and watching her favorite soap opera (General Hospital). She loved the color purple and hummingbirds, immensely. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was a member of the Catholic Church, in which she renewed her vows to John Kilburn in the Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Edward Kilburn (Amy), her daughter, Melissa Kinser (Shawn), and her beloved grandchildren, Destiny Kinser, Conner Kinser, and Taryn Kinser.
