Brent Myron Hansen

Brent Myron Hansen returned to his Heavenly Father on April 28, 2026.

He was born on September 20, 1945, in Tremonton, Utah, to Myron and Arta Hansen. Brent was raised in the beautiful Beaver Dam hills of Box Elder County. He attended Utah State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

Brent spent his career traveling throughout the United States during the early years of the computer programming industry. He also worked in real estate in Las Vegas.

In August 1982, Brent married Joanne Bakker. Together they had one daughter, Brittany, who was the light of his life. Brittany and her husband, Josh, blessed Brent with three wonderful grandchildren, Oakley, Lincoln, and Calvin. He was incredibly proud of them.

Brent will be greatly missed by his family, the close-knit Beaver Dam community, and by a large and loving group of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was joyfully welcomed into God’s grace by his parents, sister, and nieces.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 4, at 11:00 a.m. at the Beaver Dam Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at the Beaver Ward house.
