Obituary

Bryton Ruth Call died on August 25th, 2026, in her home surrounded by her daughters and husband after a valiant battle with brain cancer.

Bryton was born in Richland, Washington, and lived in Umatilla, Oregon, until the age of 13, when she moved to Brigham City. After marrying her eternal companion and best friend, Jared Call, in the Bountiful Temple, they made their home in Tremonton. Jared and Bryton are the proud parents of 6 beautiful daughters.

Bryton loves her Savior, Jesus Christ, with all of her heart and was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her faith in Jesus Christ and His teachings guided her life, strengthened her through her trials, and filled her with purpose and peace. She found comfort in the gospel, joy in serving others, and found hope and assurance in the promise of eternal families.

Bryton was married to Jared for 31 years. He was her best friend, constant companion, and greatest support. He took such loving and devoted care of her, standing by her side with unwavering tenderness, strength, and selflessness, emulating the Savior in his loving care of her. Their bond is one of deep love, respect and celestial partnership, both encouraging the other to be better, and giving loving support throughout their shared mortal experience. She was profoundly grateful for him and is so grateful they have an eternity with the posterity they have created together.

Bryton was the heart of her family, a devoted mother whose world revolved around her daughters. Everything she did was guided by love, a love that was fierce, and unwavering. As a mother she celebrated her daughters’ victories and carried them through their struggles. Her daughters in turn admired and emulated her spunky personality, loving compassion, and zest for life. She was the fun, bringing laughter and joy with her wherever she went. She was a source of strength and encouragement. Her home was always filled with warmth and the reassurance that no matter what, home was a safe space and everyone was deeply loved.

Bryton cherished her friendships and was profoundly grateful for her friends, her community, and the overwhelming love, support, and kindness shown to her and her family. She felt deeply blessed by those who surrounded her with compassion, prayers, and unwavering care.

Everyone who met Bryton felt of her love for them, and in turn the love of the Savior. She was a light to those around her, and shared that light of Christ unashamedly with all she came in contact with. Her smile, acts of kindness, and service impacted not only her family, but the community around her in wonderful and inspirational ways.

Bryton’s legacy is one of faith, devotion, obedience, kindness, and endless love. Though she will be deeply missed, her influence, loving personality, love for life, and her light, lives on through her daughters and all those whose lives she touched. We take comfort in knowing she has returned to her Heavenly Father and is reunited with loved ones, resting in peace and surrounded by eternal love. She is survived by her husband Jared Call and her daughters, Emilie Ruth Call Santiago (Eric), Abbagale Grace Call Burrell (Eli), Taylie Bryton Call, Brinlie Sophronia Call, Mollie Olivia Call, and Payslie Dawn Call.

In lieu of flowers to the family, the family asks that you please send flowers to someone who needs a little extra love or light in their life.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 31, 2026, at 11 A.M. at The Thatcher-Penrose Church (11475 W 10400 N Thatcher, UT). Interment will take place in the Valley View Bothwell Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and can be accessed below.
