Carmen Boss

Carmen Farnsworth, Richardson, Whittle Boss, 104, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 in Preston, Idaho.  Born December 20, 1914, a daughter of Leo Ezra Farnsworth and Ruby Lovina Richards.  Carmen had 1 brother and 5 sisters; Theron (Sid) Farnsworth, Cleo Wood, Faye McMurdie, Irene Peck, Doris Christensen, and Maxine Gardner all deceased.  Married Archie Richardson in the Logan Temple December 4, 1936 and had a son, Brent Lloyd Richardson.  Both Arch and Brent now deceased.  Married Merlin T. Whittle December 9, 1955, the father of 5 children; Joan Merrill, Marcia Bawden, Merlin D. Whittle, LaDawn Asay, and Sue Ann Hathaway.  Merlin T., Joan and LaDawn are deceased. Married Chester Boss February 10, 1978, father of 5 children; Colleen Carlisle, Paul, Lynn, Doyle and Lyle Boss.  Chester now deceased.  Carmen belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions.  She found joy in association with her family and friends.  Her posterity includes 11 children, 54 grandchildren, 165 great grandchildren, and 64 great- great grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Tremonton Utah Stake Center, 660 N. 300 East, Tremonton, Utah, Viewing from 9:30 AM- 10:30 A.M. and service at 11:00 AM.
