Charles Robert Crosbie

Charles Robert Crosbie, age 48, passed away on June 29, 2024 in Ogden, Utah. He was born on December 29, 1975, to Robert Brigham Crosbie and Sherida Eddy Crosbie in Ogden, Utah. 

Throughout his life, Charles resided in various places including Ogden, Utah; Harrisville, Utah; West Haven, Utah; Saratoga, Utah; and Munich Germany. He pursued his education at Gramercy Elementary, Highland Middle School, Ben Lomond High School, and Weber State University.

In his professional career, Charles worked diligently as a Q&A computer app tester at Tex Systems Inc for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  His dedication and expertise were commendable.

Among his achievements, Charles was honored with the Hope of America Award and received the Presidential Scholarship at Stevens Henager College. Charles loved all sports. He played baseball, soccer, and tennis. He loved watching boxing. He also enjoyed watching rugby and golf with his mother. 

Charles was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and embarked on a meaningful two-year LDS mission to Munich, Germany.

He is survived by his sons Taylor LeLacheur, Noah Crosbie, Bronson Crosbie, and Lincoln Crosbie; loving father Robert B. Crosbie; caring mother Sherida E. Crosbie; and siblings Weston (Rachelle) Crosbie, Natalie Crosbie, Valerie Crosbie. Additionally, he is remembered by his nieces and nephews: Jeremy Tycz, Breanna (JT) Crosbie Haderline, Malaki Steed, Leighla Steed, Madison Olsen, Parker Olsen, Hailey Olsen, and father of Olsen children: Doug Olsen, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Charles is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lawrence “Papa” and Carma Crosbie; maternal grandparents Frank and Ellen Eddy; niece Ashley Olsen; as well as other beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Funeral services for Charles will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 11 A.M at the Bear River City LDS Church (5870 N 4700 W, Bear River City). Viewings will be held Wednesday, July 10 from 6-8 P.M. at Rudd Funeral Home- Tremonton (111 N 100 E- Tremonton) and prior to the service at the church from 10-10:45 A.M. Interment will follow at the Bear River City Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and may accessed below.

Special thanks to Brigham City Community Hospital staff and Dr. Davis;  Life Flight pilot and air medics; Ogden Regional Medical Center staff and Doctor’s Andrews, Anderson and Grover (MDS) and aunts, uncles, and immediate who stayed at the hospital with Charles during his final days.
