Connie Elaine Arbon, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, age 74, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born on September 18, 1951, in Burley, Idaho, to Dwaine Anderson and Jeaneen Hill. She spent her early life growing up in Malta, Eight Mile, and Strevell, Idaho, and attended school in Malta.
Connie married Rodney Arbon on November 1, 1968, in the Logan Utah Temple. Following their marriage, they made their home in Snowville, where she was a longtime resident.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings, with a special place in her heart for the young women and her sisters in Relief Society.
Connie worked in the food service industry for most of her life and was a fantastic server. She loved getting to know people, and many regulars followed her wherever she worked. She also ran Connie’s Corner at the Bear River Bowling Center for many years. She never met a stranger and made everyone feel welcome.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney; her mother, Jeaneen Coombs; her sisters: Betty Jo (Carl) Spencer, Bonnie (Bob) Templeman, and Penny (Evan) Bankhead; her brother-in-law, Bob (Myrna) Arbon; and her children: Troy (Jennifer) Arbon, Tina Arbon, Tad Arbon, Trisha Arbon, and T.J. (Stacie) Arbon.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Ciara (Dan) Palmer, Lexi Arbon, McCrae (Addi) Arbon, Kutter Arbon, Rowdy Rust, Sassy Rust, Tyke Arbon, Taos Arbon, Dillon Nicholas, Sierra Buttars, and Cheyenne Barnett; and her great-grandchildren: Brooks Palmer, Cedar Booth, and Stockton Booth.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dwaine Anderson; her stepfather, Mark Durfee; her in-laws, Ken and Lois Arbon; her infant brother, Mark Durfee; her sister-in-law, Deanna Arbon; her sister-in-law, Phyllis Arbon Smith; and her brother-in-law, Clarence Smith.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 11 A.M. at the Curlew Ward Church (75 N 100 Snowville). Viewings will be held Monday, April 6, 2026, from 6-8 P.M. at Rudd Funeral Home- Tremonton (111 N 100 E- Tremonton) and prior to the service at the church from 9:30-10:30 A.M. Interment will follow the service at the Snowville Cemetery.The service will be livestreamed and can be accessed below.
Connie will be remembered for her kindness, her strong work ethic, and the genuine connections she made with everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
