Connie Norr Christensen

Connie Norr Christensen, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2023, in Bothwell, Utah. She was born on December 19, 1939, in Brigham City, Utah. Connie's compassionate nature and radiant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. 

In her lifetime, Connie pursued a fulfilling career as a cosmetologist, dedicating her skills to helping others feel beautiful both inside and out. Additionally, she worked at Avon Sales. Connie's commitment to her work was evident in the joy she brought to those around her. 

Connie's education journey began at Deweyville Elementary School before she went on to graduate from Bear River High School. Her thirst for knowledge and devotion to learning were evident throughout her life. 

Family meant everything to Connie. She was a devoted wife to Gary Lee Christensen and shared an unbreakable bond with him throughout their years together. Their love was a true partnership that stood the test of time. 

Connie was blessed with parents, Charles and Nola Norr, who provided unwavering support and love. Oscar and Ellen Christensen welcomed Connie into their family through her marriage to Gary Lee Christensen. 

Connie cherished her siblings deeply. She shared countless memories with her brothers DR and Gary as they navigated life's ups and downs together. Her sister Sonja Norr Holt held a special place in her heart as they shared a unique bond only siblings can understand. 

She was a proud member of JC's Auxiliary and Eagles Auxiliary. She served as a Young Women's leader, Primary teacher, Relief Society secretary, and as a missionary serving in: Chesterfield, Idaho, Gilbert, Arizona, and Cactus Ranch, Florida. 

In addition to her immediate family, Connie leaves behind a legacy of love carried by surviving family members and friends who adored her deeply. Her children, 

Roland N (Janet) Christensen, Janet (Todd) Williams, Jeri (Bret) Reeder each held a special place in Connie's heart. She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and one precious great-great-granddaughter who will forever cherish the love and wisdom she shared. 

Connie was preceded in death by her  Eternal Companion Gary Lee, her parents Charles & Nola Norr, In-laws Oscar & Ellen Christensen, brothers DR Norr & Gary Norr, and sister Sonja Norr Holt. 

Connie Norr Christensen will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering strength. Her ability to find joy in life's simplest moments and her selflessness in caring for others have left an indelible impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 11 A.M. Viewings will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 6-8 P.M. and prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 A.M. All services will be held at the Bothwell LDS Church (10350 West 11600 N- Tremonton). Interment will be held in the Valley View Bothwell Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and may be accessed below.
