Tremonton

Dallas Korth Dalton passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 30, 2025, after a battle with cancer. He was born on December 11, 1937, on the family farm in Grace, Idaho, to George Mathew and Hazel Pauline Korth Dalton.

His early years were spent working on the family dairy farm and harvesting potatoes. He graduated from Grace High School and later married Marilyn Kaye Behle in the Logan Temple on June 5, 1959. Their first daughter, Shauna Kaye, was born on May 20, 1960.

They then moved to Pocatello, Idaho, to begin his education at Idaho State University. While there, their second daughter, Raegan, was born on July 3, 1965. Dallas graduated from Pharmacy School in 1967 as a member of the Rho Chi Honor Society.

After graduation they moved to Brigham City where he worked for Hamilton Drug as a pharmacist. After two years, he was asked to open a new store in Tremonton which he managed for many years. After leaving Hamilton Drug, he worked at Tremonton Community Pharmacy until his retirement.

Dallas was an active member of the Kiwanis Club. He served as chapter president and Lieutenant Governor.

Dallas was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many capacities including Elders Quorum President, Executive Secretary and Second Counselor in the Bishopric. He and his wife served in the temple as temple patrons.

Dallas and Marilyn served as office missionaries in the California Arcadia Mission from January 2018 to January 2019.

Dallas enjoyed many hobbies and activities including camping, fishing, riding their Harley, traveling, and waterskiing. Some of his most treasured memories include fishing in Alaska with his brother, motorcycle trips with his wife and their friends, traveling with family to Hawaii, Florida, and New Zealand/Australia, and the many, many trips to Lake Powell on their houseboat “Eight’s E Nuff” and their ski boat “Rx for Fun.”

Throughout his life, he always supported his family with their activities including dance and drill team with his daughters and then sports, dance, and theater with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. One accomplishment he was very proud of was teaching all eight of his grandchildren to slalom waterski.

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings, and a great granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, and his daughters, Shauna (Val) Steed of Centerville, and Raegan (Kirt) Richins of Henefer, along with eight grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
