Deanna Clayton Firth Frank peacefully passed away on July 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Throughout her life, Deanna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, faith, and Christlike love touched all who knew her. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, supporting them in every stage of life, celebrating their accomplishments, and creating cherished memories together. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved. Her legacy of service, compassion, and unwavering testimony will continue to bless her family for generations to come.

Deanna was born on May 21, 1941, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, the 7th of 9 children to Wilford Henton Clayton and Harriet Anna Hill Clayton. She grew up in Ucon, Idaho and graduated from Bonneville High School. She then attended Utah State University where she met the love of her life, Dale S. Firth. They were married in the Logan Temple on July 28, 1960, and together they built a home centered on love, hard work and family. Dale passed away on December 13, 1978. After a not so by chance meeting at IFA she fell in love with and married Brad V. Frank in Tremonton, Utah on September 28, 1984 making him a husband, father, and grandfather with the two little words, “I Do”.

She was known for her wonderful homemaking skills which included sewing, baking, organizing, but above all, keeping a spotless home. Her children lovingly joked about the perfectly straight “race tracks” she left in the carpet after vacuuming. It wasn’t unusual for her to vacuum everyone out of the house-only to welcome them back in the same way.

Music was one of Deanna’s greatest passions and a constant source of comfort throughout her life. Whether she was playing her favorite hymns and songs on the piano or organ, or simply listening to beautiful music, her home was always filled with melody. She especially loved hearing her grandchildren play their instruments, offering encouragement and helping them gain confidence in their talents. Those who knew Deanna will remember the joy she found in music and the way it brought family and friends together.

Above all else, Deanna’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and extended family.

Deanna faithfully served in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a young woman in Ucon, she served as a Primary pianist and ward organist. Throughout her adult life she devoted herself to serving others in numerous capacities, including Young Women president, Camp Director, and Mia Maid adviser, Primary president and teacher, Relief Society teacher, organist, workday director, visiting teacher; Junior Sunday School coordinator, ward organist and choir pianist, and Stake organist. After Dale passed away she served in the Logan temple and more recently she served in the Brigham City temple with Brad. She will be remembered for her willing heart, generous spirit, and quiet, Christlike service.

Deanna is survived by her husband, Brad V. Frank; children Tonya (DelRay) Woodruff, Daniel Nesbit son-in-law (Shawna), Jeff (Lisa) Firth, Teresa (Paul) Wood, Mary (Todd) Johnson, Nichole (Jeff) Isaacson, Natalie (Sid) Soria, and Amy (Danny) Despain, 37 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren, siblings; Beverly Clayton, sister-in-law, Dennis (Sharon) Clayton, and Larry Clayton.

Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford Henton and Harriet Anna Hill Clayton; her beloved husband, Dale S. Firth; her cherished daughter, Glenda Nesbit, whom she missed deeply; her siblings, Betty (Seth) Tracy, Arlene (Ray) Stucki, Harriet Clayton, Dale Clayton, Harlan (Dorothy) Clayton, Kenneth Clayton; and her sister-in-law, Bonnie Clayton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:00 am (MT) at the Tremonton 3rd Ward meetinghouse, 9590 North 6800 West, Tremonton, Utah. A viewing will be held at the same location prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Elwood Cemetery.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the young men and leaders who faithfully brought the sacrament to grandma and grandpa’s home each Sunday. Those visits meant so much to her and brought her great comfort.

The family also extends their sincere appreciation to her hospice caregivers - Rhon, Tammy, Mayli, and Jamie – for their tender, compassionate care during her final days. Your kindness and devotion will never be forgotten.

They are also deeply grateful for the many friends and neighbors whose love, prayers, and support brought comfort and strength to Deanna and her family.

“Mom and Grandma, we love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!”
