Dorothy "Dot" Conger

September 5, 1948 — May 24, 2017

Dorothy (Dot) Sparks Conger of Tremonton, Utah returned home to her Father in Heaven on May 24, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family that she loved.  She was born on September 5, 1948 in Logan, Utah to Gleneth & Vella Thompson Sparks.  She married David Tracy Conger on March 15, 1969.

Dot graduated from Sky View High School where she was active in choir and the posse club.  As a youth she was the Cache County Dairy Princess, loved to barrel race, played on the Jr. High volleyball team and loved playing church ball.  After High School she attended and graduated from the Victor’s School of Business.  She worked at the Cache Valley Dairy, First Security Bank, taught preschool at Butler Kiddie College and worked at Thiokol for 34 years where she was honored with a Silver Snoopy Award.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she held callings as YW leader, Primary Teacher, Librarian and Sunday School Teacher.  But the calling that she cherished the most was working in the Brigham Temple.  Dot was an avid Temple goer where she went weekly for many years.

She is survived by her husband, David Tracy Conger, sons David Tracy Conger Jr. and Dane Ray (Stephanie) Conger, grandchildren Brazen, Braxton, & Bryson Conger and Paizlee & Kinlee Conger and brother Kim G. (Jane) Sparks.  She had many nieces, nephews and close family friends including, Vickie, Tiffany, & Maryssa that she loved.  She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Darlene S. Hess and the apple of her eye Taylie Lynne Conger.

Thank you to the many friends and extended family for the love and kindness that you have shown her throughout her life but especially during the past several months.  Special thank you to the IHC Home Health and Hospice for their dedicated service in caring for Dot.
