Eva M. Allred

Eva M. Allred, 94, peacefully passed away in Ogden, Utah, on August 22, 2025. Born on October 8, 1930, in Blue Creek, Utah, she was the daughter of Hans Jacob Andersen and Irene Mendonhall.

On June 10, 1948, Eva married Devon G. Allred in Coalville, Utah, and together they built a loving family until his passing on April 20, 1986. Throughout her life, Eva was a devoted homemaker and worked as a housekeeper for others, always extending her nurturing spirit to those around her.

Eva lived in various communities, including Blue Creek, Tremonton, and Garland. She attended Bear River High School.

A cherished grandmother, Eva was known for her unconditional love and kindness. She was fan of the Utah Jazz basketball team.

Eva is survived by her four sons: Kenneth Devon Allred of Garland, Ronald Gilbert Allred of Ogden, Steven Douglas Allred of Liberty, and Michael H. Allred of Garland; her sister Marilyn Lightfoot; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, all of whom will carry her legacy of love forward.

She was preceded in death by her husband Devon Allred; her daughter MarVan Allred Keppler; her grandson Brandon Joseph Anderson; and her siblings: Leon Andersen, Dean Andersen, Darrel Andersen, Elaine Madsen Johnsen, and Betty Reese.

A viewing in honor of her life will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 11 A.M. to Noon at Rudd Funeral Home in Tremonton (111 N 100 E, Tremonton), followed by a graveside service at 12:30 P.M. at the East Garland Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Lomond Peak Rehab & Nursing, and to her granddaughter Carly, for the compassion and dedicated care provided to Eva during her later years. Her spirit will forever be remembered and celebrated by all who knew and loved her.
