Gene Larson

Gene Woodruff Larson, 22, passed away on November 21, 2016 in Tremonton, Utah. He was born on November 23, 1993 in Anaconda, Montana. He is the son of Lee F and Penny N Larson. He attended elementary school in Clark County Idaho and received a certificate from Cokeville High School in Wyoming.

Throughout his life, he has lived in many places. Including, Anaconda, Montana; Wisdom, Montana; Dubois, Idaho; Cokeville, Wyoming; LaBarge Wyoming and most recently in Tremonton, Utah.

Gene was a very hard worker. While living in Wyoming, he developed his own dog treat business called Gene’s Dog Treats. He enjoyed volunteering at dog shelters, veterinary hospitals, libraries and ranch work. He loved everything that he did. He always saw the good in everyone and everything.

Gene is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his parents; grandpa, Gary Nielson; siblings, Misty (Scott) Thorsen- West Jordan, UT, Cami Jo (Jason) Rose- Thatcher, UT, Lori Lee (Robert) Hall- Bothwell, UT, Lindsey (Mike) Parrish- Logan, UT, Derrick (Stephanie) Larson- Garland, UT, Kirk (Alexandra) Larson- Idaho Falls, ID, Keree (Nolan) Anderson- Ammon, ID, Karylle (Spencer) Iacono- Idaho Falls, ID, Torie (Adam) Easley- Tremonton, UT, Carolyn (Kolton) Menlove- Tremonton, UT, Colt Larson- Tremonton, UT, Adan Larson- Tremonton, UT, Isaac Larson-Tremonton, UT and Liam Larson- Tremonton, UT.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis & Merle Larson and Leila Jean Nielson.

Funeral services for Gene will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Deweyville LDS Chapel (10750 N. Highway 38- Deweyville). A viewing will be held prior to the service at the church from 11- 12:30 p.m. Interment in the East Garland Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all those that have supported Gene in his many endeavors.
