Ivie Denise Wells

Denise Wells, age 69, returned home to her Heavenly Father on May 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones, after a courageous fight with Parkinson's.

Denise was born March 17, 1956, to Dee C. and Deon Hirschi of Park Valley, Utah.

Denise was raised on the farm and that's where her hard work and love of all animals came from.

Denise graduated from Bear River High School, and later married the love of her life Richard Wells and they were blessed with 4 wonderful children.

Denise was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many callings throughout her life. That went along with her love of children as she taught Preschool for 18 years at Small Wonders Preschool. She also helped her father on his mail route to Park Valley and Grouse Creek for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband Richard, their 4 kids Krys (Karen) Oyler of Hyrum, Kory (Brooke) Wells of Tremonton, Alisha (Aaron) Holt of Syracuse and Ashlee (Eric) Stevenson of Elwood. Their 13 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild with 1 more on the way.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dee & Deon Hirschi, her in-laws Lamont & Inge Wells.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 11 A.M. at the Tremonton South Stake Center (1150 S Tremont Street- Tremonton). Viewings will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 6-8 P.M. at Rudd Funeral Home (111 N 100 E- Tremonton) and prior to the service at the church from 9-10:30 A.M. Interment will take place in the Valley View Bothwell Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and can be accessed below.

The Family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Canyon Homecare and Hospice and especially her nurse Tiffany, and to all of her many family and friends who came to visit and keep her spirits high during those last few months.
