James Lee Cornwall, 66, passed away on September 29, 2026, in Tremonton, Utah. Born on January 1, 1960, to CM “Red” Cornwall and Joyce Capener Cornwall, James spent his life in Tremonton and Riverside, Utah.

A graduate of Bear River High School, James dedicated his career to the trucking industry, working as a truck driver and dispatcher before retiring from Stokes Trucking in 2025. He cherished simple pleasures—watching baseball, playing cards with friends, trap shooting, and exploring the country from behind the wheel of a semi-truck. Life on the farm was a joy for James, alongside a special affection for his grand dog, Sam.

A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, James is remembered by his children, Colton James Cornwall (Payton), Logan Chet Cornwall (Josie), and grandchildren Kashton Shane, Parley James, and Scottie B. He is also survived by his siblings Diane (Dennis) Coburn, Nancy (John) Magoon, Gene (Christine) Cornwall, Susan (Gordy) Robbins, Toni (Mitchel) Rogers, Rusty (Teresa) Cornwall, and Dawn (Ty) Baird.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his older sister Gayle (Burke) Nielson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 2 P.M. at the Riverside Cemetery (15400 N 5100 W, Riverside, UT) honoring a life well-lived and cherished.
