James (Jimmy) Len Christensen

December 1, 1949 — March 15, 2023

James (Jimmy) returned to his Heavenly Father on March 15, 2023, in Logan Utah.

Jimmy was born on December 1st, 1949, to George LaRell Christensen and Lenna Sutton Christensen in Tremonton, UT where he was raised. He attended Bear River High School followed by serving two years in the US Army.

For a time, he worked as a custodian at Thiokol, then he ran the Bomb Shelter Bar, which was located under the old Midland Hotel.

Jimmy married Mary Hess then later divorced, he then married Colleen Deakin. They had a son, Jason Christensen. They later divorced.

He took care of his parents until their passing. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Brian S. Christensen.  He is survived by his son, Jason, Brothers Darrell (Sandra) Christensen, Carey (Cindy) Christensen and Darwin Christensen.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 1 P.M. at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery, 175 E 1200 S, Tremonton, UT followed by a celebration of life at 770 S 1000 W Tremonton, UT.
