Garland- 63, Janet Nielson passed away on February 18, 2015 in Brigham City, Utah. She was born in Garland, Utah to Ferris & Norma Nielson on December 26, 1952.
Janet grew up in Garland and graduated from Bear River High School. She also lived in Perry and Brigham City. She worked at Thiokol and Premium meats.
She loved to go camping, loved riding horses and rodeo. She enjoyed watching Chariot Racing and especially loved spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her daughter Keri (Mike) Nelson, son Jason (Tabatha) Udy, sister Eileen Cornwall, brother Burke Nielson, three granddaughters and one great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday February 24, 2015 at Garland Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. There will be a viewing held on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E.).
