Jean Leora (Francom) Bell

Jean Leora Francom Bell, age 59, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, in Elwood, Utah. She was born on April 29, 1966, in Brigham City, Utah, to O. LaVar and Betty Francom.

On March 9, 1991, Jean married Jerry W. Bell in San Diego, California. Their union created a loving family that Jean cherished deeply. Throughout her life, Jean lived in various locations including Ogden, the Bear River Valley area, San Diego, Washington and Elwood.

Jean graduated from Bear River High School in 1984 and furthered her education by studying to become a phlebotomist in California in 1991. Her impactful career spanned both the childcare and medical fields, where she dedicated herself to caring for others.

A passionate crocheter, Jean found joy in creating beautiful pieces for her family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where her faith enriched her life and the lives of those around her.

Jean is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Bell; her daughter, J’Lynn Worwood (Bobby); and her daughter, JayCee Furness (Coulter). She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren, whom she adored. Jean is also survived by her father, O. LaVar Francom; her siblings, Julene Robinson (Alan), DeWayne Francom (Lori), and Deanne; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Braden Jaymes (BJ) Bell and KC Wayne Bell; her mother, Betty Jane Francom; and her sister, Rauna Jane Morris.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 11 A.M. with a viewing prior from 10-10:30 A.M. at Rudd Funeral Home in Tremonton (111 N 100 E, Tremonton). Interment will follow at the Elwood Cemetery.
