In Loving Memory of Jermaine J. Chingman
December 31, 1975 – August 21, 2026
The loss of Jermaine J. Chingman is a loss that will be felt for a lifetime. His life, his love, his laughter, and his free spirit will forever be remembered and cherished by everyone who knew and loved him.
Jermaine was raised with love and cared for by Carolyn Neaman, who was there for him throughout his life. His family, including Jerry, Arron, Johan, Catherine, Keshia Neaman, Koby, and Ashoni Thrope, helped shape the man he became. The love, guidance, and memories they shared with him will forever remain a part of his story.
Jermaine is survived by his siblings, Isaiah Thompson, Christopher Hernandez, Braden Hootchew, and Dawn Hootchew, along with his nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless loved ones whose lives he touched.
Jermaine was an encourager, a teacher, a protector, and a friend. If you didn't know how to do something, he would teach you. If he knew something that could help, he shared it. He was an easygoing, free spirit, but deeply loyal to the people he loved. To those closest to him, he was the main man, the main partner. He was Manio.
Jermaine was preceded in death by his birth mother, Cindy Lou Neaman, and other beloved family members who went before him. Though our hearts are broken by his passing, there is comfort in knowing that Jermaine is now reunited with those who went before him. We find peace in knowing that he is once again surrounded by family and love.Jermaine leaves behind more than memories. He leaves behind the lessons he taught, the people he encouraged, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely.
Rest easy, Manio. You were deeply loved, you will be deeply missed, and you will never be forgotten.
