Joleen Elizabeth Bills-Christensen

With heavy hearts, we announce Joleen Elizabeth Bills-Christensen, 59, passed away peacefully at her home in Garland, UT on July 5, 2025. Joleen was born on March 9, 1966, to Joey R. Bills and Sharon Bills. She grew up in Taylorsville on family-owned farmland and attended Taylorsville High School.

Joleen married Lee Scott Allen on October 23, 1986, with whom they shared three children.

Joleen worked for many years at IRS and met some very close friends during her time there as well as her second husband, Michael Christensen. They married on December 3, 2011, and spent the last 14 years together traveling, attending rodeos, and taking drives together through the countryside.

Joleen loved to shop and spend time with her family, hosting get togethers and cooking in the kitchen. She was an avid animal lover and was known for her tender and loving heart. She is deeply loved and will be missed, especially for her sense of humor and sweet smile. She is survived by her husband, Michael; and children, Coltin Allen, Kylie (Mike) Singleton, and Kolby Allen; mother, Sharon Bills; brother, Joby Bills; grandchildren, Rhettley and Casey Singleton; and her dog, Tucker. Preceded in death by father, Joey Ray Bills and grandparents, Willard “Bill” and Evelyn Barker.

A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10 A.M. in the Taylorsville Cemetery (4567 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123).
