Tremonton

Joyce Dawn Vincent, 72, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2026. She was born on December 21, 1953, in Evansville, Indiana, to Orvil and Helen Bethe. Joyce spent most of her life in Boonville, Indiana, before moving to Tremonton, Utah, in 2020.

Joyce was the devoted wife of Michael Vincent, with whom she shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and caring for others. She was a loving mother to Michele (Tom) Adams, Sherri (Matt) Brasel, Jimmy (Reanna) Vincent, and Sage (Ambere) Vincent. She was also a proud grandmother to Dalton Brasel, Michael (Ashley) Brasel, Brooke (John) Humerickhouse, and Clara (Randy) Dougan. She was also the great-grandmother to Valerie Dougan. Her love extended to her cherished granddogs Apollo, Toby, Bentley, and Sif—who always brought a smile to her face.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Orvil and Helen Bethe; her brothers, Orvil-William, Larry and Richard Bethe; her beloved daughter, Michele Adams; her "like-a-daughter," Jana Huggins; and her faithful companion, Oliver-Bear.

Family was Joyce's greatest joy and highest priority. She treasured every moment spent with those she loved. One of her favorite traditions was taking trips to Pocatello, Idaho with her daughter Sherri, listening to funny audiobooks along the way and singing along to the soundtrack from Song Sung Blue. Joyce would always make sure to send the "good-night messages" with a specific heart color to each of her kids. Those simple moments together became treasured memories.

Joyce had a servant's heart. She was always looking for ways to help others and consistently put the needs of those around her before her own. Anyone who met Joyce would walk away saying what a genuinely sweet person she was. Those who knew her best also knew she had a playful side and could be a bit of a stinker, making her all the more lovable.

As a wife, Joyce was steadfast, caring, and deeply devoted. She lovingly cared for Michael throughout their marriage, and the bond they shared was evident to everyone who knew them. She will be profoundly missed by him and by all who were blessed to know her.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU nurses, physicians, and staff at McKay-Dee Hospital for the compassionate care they provided Joyce during her final days.

Joyce's kindness, gentle spirit, unwavering love, and generous heart will live on in the countless lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of compassion, laughter, and unconditional love will remain with her family forever.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Joyce's honor to Chemo Buddies at chemobuddies.org.
