Kent Hill

June 10, 1955 — August 8, 2018

Howard Kent Hill (Kent) passed away on August 8, 2018. He was born on June 10, 1955 in Ogden, UT to Howard Keith and Bonnie Joyce Child Hill.

He lived in Ogden and Garland throughout his life and spent 4 years in the Navy in California. He attended Ben Lomond and later received his GED. He also spent two quarters at Weber State.

Kent worked as a carpenter at BPC Supply. He received four different certificates of achievements in various areas of BPC.

He was a petty officer 3rd class in the Navy for four years. The last two years he served with the Marines as their Medical Corpsman.

Kent received many awards in the Navy and BPC. He loved to read, especially about science and philosophy subjects. He loved to hunt and fish and was very artistic.

He was a member of the LDS church.

Kent is survived by his mother, Bonnie J. Hill; sister, Criste Moss; brother, Mark D. (Sheri) Hill; 3 nieces, 4 nephews, 15 great-nieces and nephews, and 1 great-great- nephew.

He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Keith Hill; Brother-in-law, Bruce Moss; and all of his grandparents.

There will be a viewing for immediate family on August 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. and the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E., Tremonton, UT). Following the viewing, there will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. at the Elwood Cemetery.
