Laura Mahnke

August 30, 1948 — October 29, 2017

Our dearly beloved Wife, Twin-daughter, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Friend Laura Jean Anderson Mahnke passed from this Earthly Life on October 29, 2017 after an often challenging and very difficult battle with cancer.

Laura was born on August 30, 1948 a twin with her brother Larry Kent in Ogden, Utah. A daughter of George E. Anderson and Elizabeth Boren. Laura is survived by Larry, (Marilyn), Rick (Kathy), Roger, David (Sharon) Anderson all of Ogden, Utah. She is also survived by her husband Eugene; four daughters, Trina Polanowski, Angela Robison, Emily (Chris) Cave, and Celeste (Isaac) Miranda; son, Paul (Bethann); thirteen grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

Laura was a very caring and loving wife and mother to her husband Eugene and her children. Meeting their every need with love and devotion. She always expressed her love for them.

Laura served her ward family with love and devotion serving in Sunday School, Relief Society, Primary, and Visiting Teacher. Laura served with her husband as a Temple Worker for four years in the Brigham City LDS Temple. A calling which she dearly loved, cherished and wished could go on forever.

Laura worked for the Federal Government for 30 years. She loved her time off. She was able to spend time with her husband and family at their Bear Lake cabin.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Services for Laura will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening November 2, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E.- Tremonton, UT 84337).
