LenaRae Allen

Tremonton- LenaRae Tracy Allen, 86, passed away on December 25, 2018 in Tremonton, Utah. She was born on December 1, 1932 in Yost, Utah to Charles Weldon Tracy & Alice Burgess. She was raised in Yost, and attended elementary school in Brigham City, Utah. She graduated from Rupert High School.

Lena lived in various other places throughout her life including Moses Lake, Washington, Salt Lake City, Utah, Mesa, Arizona, Big Piney, Wyoming and Tremonton, Utah. She married Chad Layton Allen on January 14, 1959 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He passed away in May of 2001.

Lena worked as a baker at Kents Market in Tremonton. She loved quilting, gardening, reading, and crocheting.

She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in her favorite calling, a Nursery Leader for a long time.

Lena is survived by her four children, two sisters, 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death be her parents, brothers: Weldon and Wren Tracy; sister, Velma Garner; and loving husband, Chad Allen.

Funeral services for Lena will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 in the Tremonton 2nd/5th Ward Chapel (251 S. Tremont St.) A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment will immediately follow the service at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
