Obituary

Our Dear Wife, Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister, Aunt, and Friend passed away peacefully at her home in Bothwell, Utah surrounded by her family on April 13, 2026, at the age of 67 due to complications of Dementia. Lois was born in Heber City, Utah on March 24,1959 to Calvin and Margie Clyde. She was the third of seven children; she was the oldest daughter. She was a friend to all and made everyone feel loved; she saw others as our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ saw them. She graduated in 1977 from Wasatch High School in Heber City, Utah. She served as the reporter for the F.H.A.- Future Homemakers Association.

Lois worked for ten years as CNA at Wasatch Hospital in Heber City, Utah where she took care of the mothers and the newborn babies; she enjoyed that very much. She worked many different jobs throughout her life to include transcription work from home for Heber Valley Physical Therapy for her brother. Lois cleaned the dance studio where her daughters attended dance to help with the cost of classes. She loved to help with providing care for her brother Ollie prior to his passing. She enjoyed working at Wendy’s in Tremonton until her retirement.

Lois was a valiant member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many calling to include nursery leader, compassionate service, young women's, and a scout leader. One of Lois’s first callings was a stake young women's leader in the young single adults, (known to her at the time as the “young unwanteds”). It was through this calling that she met the love of her life, Jeffrey Ivers. After a very short courtship, they were married and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on October 02, 1981, for time and all eternity. A marriage that lasted over 44 years. Lois was the proud mother of five children. She loved all her family including siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lois was blessed to be a part of their lives.

Lois loved outings and spending time with family at Mill B, Bondurant, Yellowstone, South Dakota, Downata-Hot Springs, Baja Mexico, attending county fairs, concerts, (her favorite Garth Brooks) and many family reunions. She had a great love for music.

She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Ivers; children Wade Ivers (Annie), Ashley Schwinn (Chris), Allison Hales (Benjamin); grandchildren Christian, Jesse, Nick, Leland, Treven, Serenity, Zoey and Ember; and great grandsons Jaxon, Hagen and Copeland. Siblings: Calvin “Daff” Clyde (Jana), Willis Clyde (Lynette), Alex Clyde, Becky Clyde, Jeanie Brierley (Richard), Sister-in-law Carolyn Clyde and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Calvin and Margie Clyde; her children, Bradley and Nicole Ivers; and her brother, Robert 'Ollie' Clyde. She is also reunited with her in-laws, Leland and Rosalee Ivers (Mel Ryan), and her grandparents, Ken 'Tink' and Lora Clyde, and Rex and Birdie Mair.

Our family would like to give a special thanks to the compassionate service of the Bothwell and Salt Creek 1st ward Relief Society for the acts of service in providing meals to our home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10 A.M. at the Bothwell Church (10350 W 11600 N Tremonton). Viewings will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, from 6-8 P.M. at Rudd Funeral Home- Tremonton (111 N 100 E- Tremonton) and prior to the service at the church from 9-9:45 A.M. Interment will take place in the Midway Cemetery at approximately 1:30 P.M.

A special thanks to the staff of Rocky Mountain Hospice that provided such good care for her during the months leading up to her passing.
