Mark Robert Kuebler died Monday the 21st of September 2026, at the age of 65. He was born in San Francisco on the 23rd of March 1961, to Sydney Merlone Cox (Johnson) and Robert Irving Kuebler. After graduating from Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, CA, he worked as a welder. He served an 18 month mission to Texas for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1981.

In 1986 Mark married Kimberly Carter (Weis) who he knew since she was 2 and remained friends with even after their divorce. They lived in San Jose California where they had four children. He worked in quality control for a medical supply company, and then in street maintenance for the City of San Jose in 1998.

Mark went to the Philippines in 2008 and brought back Wennie Obedoza, whom he married in the Salt Lake City LDS temple. When he retired in 2016 they moved to Tremonton, UT. In 2020 he suffered a major heart attack, and for six years he was still able to work on his various hobbies until his heart finally wore out.

Even after his heart attack Mark designed and built two beautiful goldfish ponds that are in his backyard. The ponds are connected by a stream flowing under a bridge, and they each have a waterfall.

Mark loved restoring and repairing cars, which he learned from his father. Whenever anyone he knew needed a repair, he would drop everything and come to the rescue. If he happened upon a cool car, he had to seek out the owner and make friends. He was generous to those in need and happiest when serving others.

Mark had a passion for collecting things, including cars he intended to rebuild; knives of which he always carried many, and all types of guns; diecast autos and Hotwheels; skulls, and anything “Punisher” related. He loved showing off his collections to anyone who visited (eye roll included). Mark also loved to tease - even people he just met. He loved cats too, and always had one nearby.

He is survived by his wife Wennie, and her siblings Zita, Nora, Abraham, Arlene, Augustus, and Ruby of General Santos City, Philippines. He is also survived by his son Joshua (Lili), and granddaughter Serena of Milwaukie, OR; daughter Clarissa Spencer (Chris), grandsons Maverick, Oakley and Dexter, granddaughter Charlie of Honeyville, UT; son Derrick (Amari) of Milcreek, UT; daughter Cheyenne (Steven) Marble, grandson Owen, granddaughter Emily of Tremonton, UT; and sister Vicki (Mark) Rasmussen of Bear River City, UT. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

There will be a funeral service on Friday the 2nd of October at 1 pm, with a viewing prior from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, at the Tremonton Stake Center-13th Ward building (660 N 300 E- Tremonton).
