Marshann Anderson

October 12, 1953 — July 6, 2017

ELWOOD - Marshann Dustin Anderson, 63, passed away on July 6, 2017 in the comfort of her own home in Elwood, Utah. She was born on October 12, 1953 in Ogden, Utah, to Darrell George Dustin and Georgeann Crowley.

Marshann attended Ogden High, Graduated from Box Elder High and then obtained her CNA certificate through Bridgerland Tech. On September 10, 1971, she was sealed for time and all eternity to the love of her life, Thomas James Anderson.

She lived life to its fullest, she has lived from coast to coast, from one end of Utah to the other, and in Japan. Marshann, blessed many as a CNA at Bear River Care Center and as an in-home health aide. She was a faithful member of the LDS church, she served diligently and lovingly in various positions. But most of all, she was a loving full time wife and mother. Her most prized achievements, awards and titles were her family; her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many foster children. Mom loved the creatures of the earth and found much joy and peace just sitting and watching nature.

Mom had beautiful talent and love for music, and working with her hands, be it painting, crafts, ceramics, or crocheting and so much more. Mom treasured her friends and always welcomed a stranger in need with open arms and a compassionate heart to serve another.

Marshann is survived by her loving husband, Tom Anderson; her sweet Lori Greene (Jim), her responsible Jared Anderson (Julie), her elect Sandra Sanders (Shawn), her special sunshine Sherida Anderson, her sweet cookie Makayla Cunningham (Michael), her one & only Calista Anderson, her son Hyrum Anderson (Celeste), and her unpredictable Ryely Anderson.  She is also survived by her greatest treasures, 21 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren (plus 2 on the way); her 2 brothers, 4 sisters and numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and both sets of grandparents.

There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Trenton, Utah cemetery (4798 N 4800 W Trenton, UT 84338) at 11:00 a.m.
