Max Averett

Max Steve Averett, 71, passed away at his home in Tremonton, Utah on July 11, 2016. He was born on June 9, 1945 in Park City, Utah to Arthur & LV Averett. He married his sweetheart, Mary Ellen Duncan Averett in Duchesne, Utah on November 20, 1975.
He loved fishing and camping. He was most proud of his kids and grandkids. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids and playing with them.
Max is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Ellen; children: Judy Averett, Steve (Amanda) Averett, and Bobbie (Riley) Snyder; 10 grandkids: Alex, Isabell, Brandee, Robynn, Boe, Bree, Brandon, RoseLee, Zayden and Rayden and his siblings: Leon Averett and Midgie Street.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lorainne Justice; son, Max Averett Jr.; father-in-law, Edwin Duncan and brother-in-law, Lawrence Justice.
Funeral services for Max will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E., Tremonton, UT). A viewing will be held at the same location, prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
