Mindy Jo Anderson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mindy Jo Anderson, beloved daughter of Myrtle and Cleon Anderson, who left this world on 6 December 2025, after a sudden brain aneurysm in Tacoma, Washington. Born on May 28, 1965, Mindy grew up surrounded by the beauty of Bothwell, Utah, where her love for nature and animals flourished.

Mindy’s life was filled with simple joys: the companionship of her cherished animals, afternoons spent lost in books or painting, the solace she found by the ocean, and her ever-growing collection of seashells. She found peace swinging in her hammock among the trees and adventure kayaking on quiet waters. Despite challenges with her hands, Mindy’s creative spirit shone through engraving, jewelry-making, and painting. She turned to audiobooks to continue her lifelong love of stories.

She is lovingly remembered by her children—Jon Anderson, L.J., and Becky Anderson—and her grandchildren, Mystical, C.J. Joseph, Lyndon, and Natalia Anderson. Her faithful cat, Silence, and her siblings—Mick & Ranae Anderson, Marla Pierce, Dwight & Darlene Anderson, and Nona Hunsaker—also survive her. Mindy was preceded in death by her parents and many other beloved family members.

A private graveside service was held on 20 December 2025, to honor Mindy’s memory. She will be remembered for her boundless love for all living creatures, her artistic gifts, and her unfailing loyalty to friends and family.
