Myrna Marie (Grace) Schwartz

Myrna Marie Grace Schwartz, age 80, peacefully passed away on May 6, 2026, at Our House in Tremonton, Utah with her loved ones by her side. Born on March 25, 1946, in Vicksburg, Michigan, Myrna was the beloved daughter of LeRoy Marion Grace and Lena Barbara Steiner.

She married Charles Allen Schwartz on July 29, 1967, and shared many wonderful years together until his passing on November 20, 2015. Throughout her life, Myrna made her home in Soda Springs, Idaho, and Fielding, Utah, and Trego, Montana and was a proud graduate of Vicksburg High School, class of 1964.

Myrna dedicated much of her working life to various roles, including positions at the Michigan Telephone Company, Grace Idaho Potato Farms, Bear River Valley Care Center, and Bear River Medical in Tremonton, Utah, where she retired.

A woman of many talents and interests, Myrna enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and knitting. She cherished golfing, fishing and four-wheeling adventures shared with her husband. Her passion extended to genealogy, walking, visiting neighbors alongside her grandchildren, and tending to her beautiful garden. She was also an avid fan of the Utah Jazz, especially admiring Karl Malone, and found joy in attending the temple.

During her high school years, Myrna was a cheerleader. She served multiple times as the Young Women’s President and volunteered at the Brigham City Temple. Her commitment to service was further demonstrated through roles such as camp director and numerous church callings.

Myrna is lovingly remembered by her daughters Heather (Brady) Marsh and Schauna (Ben Austin); her grandchildren Skyler (Shelby), Hayden (Whitney), Oakley (Daffnee), Gracie, Aspen (Breckon) Spencer, and Steven (Kayla) Schoebinger; as well as her great-grandchildren Royce, Roland, Russell, Hudson, Rosie, Penelope, Summer, Dolly, Minnie, and Riley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy Marion and Barbara Lena Grace; her husband, Charles Allen Schwartz; and her in-laws Doug and Phyllis Schwartz.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Noon with a viewing held prior from 10-11:30 A.M. All services will be held at the Fielding Stake Center. The burial will take place in the Fielding Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and can be found at www.ruddfuneralhome.com.
