Obituary

Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and loyal friend, Phillip J Belew, was born on December 7, 1956, in Brigham City, Utah.

Phillip married the love of his life, Ronda Earl, on August 30, 1974. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple, sealing them together for eternity. Together, they built a family whose love continues through their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Phil loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He had a special love for horses and training dogs. He loved being involved in the 4-H program, helping kids work with and care for their animals. Later in life, Phil found a loyal companion and best friend in his goldendoodle, George. Through the years, George stayed by his side, bringing him comfort, joy, and unconditional love.

Phil was a hardworking family man who lived a life of service to others. He was someone everyone could count on, always willing to lend a hand. His example taught his family the value of hard work, showing up for others, and giving from the heart.

He is survived by his children, Tami and Evan Knight, Brett and Jen Belew, and Cindy and Trevor Rasmussen; his siblings, Bob, Cheryl Ann, and Butch; and his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ronda; his son, Clayton; his grandsons, Dustin and Taygen; and his brother, Greg.

After his long battle with Parkinson’s, our family finds comfort in knowing he is free from pain and reunited with those he has missed so deeply.

As a family, we want to thank the many caregivers and care teams who cared for Dad throughout the years with kindness, patience, and compassion. To the friends and family who stood by him through his long battle with Parkinson’s, thank you for every visit, phone call, shared laugh, and reminder that he was loved.

A graveside will be held Friday, October 23, 2026, at Noon at the Bear River City Cemetery (5550 N 4600 W- Brigham City). Viewings will be held at Rudd Funeral Home- Tremonton (111 N 100 E- Tremonton) on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 10-11 A.M.
