Robin Myers

Robin Charmagne Ellery Myers was a beautiful Daughter of God, born on March 6, 1956 to Richard Doughty Ellery and Clydean Marie Smith in Portland Oregon.

She grew up in various towns and cities mostly in Oregon, due to her father’s job in trucking. During these years her family found the wonderful gift of the gospel, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was later sealed to her parents in the Salt Lake Temple in June of 1965. As she continued to grow and move around, she graduated High School in 1974 in Ontario, Oregon.

Once finished with high school she went on to Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, where she got her degree in early childhood education.

Later while working in Ontario, she met the love of her life Michael Lee Myers.

Theirs was a whirlwind (long-distance) romance. They met at a wedding and later went on a blind date, and after that date they were married within six weeks on December 15, 1979. Later after Michael joined the church and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple on September 23, 1982.

Not long after they were married and moved to Jerome, Idaho they welcomed their eldest daughter, Shanae. With the next three following along; Chad, Jason, and Nicole. While they loved living in Idaho and the farm life, the opportunity came up for them to move to Northern Utah. So, they came to Fielding, UT where their final child Lance was born.

They soon bought a house in Garland, UT and this is where Robin continued her daycare and eventually started working at Garland Elementary. She took the love she had for the kids and came to work at Alice C. Harris Intermediate School, where she worked as a custodian for over 35 years.

She loved her callings in the church and sharing her testimony and being involved with the youth made her so happy.

As time passed and kids grew up and got married, Robin and Michael were blessed with 15 grandkids and 4 great grandkids. And oh, how she loved each and every one of them. Never one to miss a game, competition, play, concert, or tournament. She was always there to cheer on her grandkids, and sometimes going hoarse with her dance mom voice.

Robin is survived by her husband Michael Myers; mother-in-law Joan Myers; children Shanae Thomas (Joseph), Chad Myers (Laura), Jason Myers (Bess), Nicole Kunzler (Jonathan), Lance Myers (Meagan); grandkids Eldric Thomas, Sierra Maga (Chet), Lilly Thomas, Naomi Craner, Kayden Craner, Rocky Myers, Jimmy Craner, Milo Myers, Corinne Craner, Wesley Myers, Riatta Kunzler, Cinch Kunzler, Tagger Kunzler, Dallyia Kunzler, and Elliott Myers; great grandkids Marley Maga, Emmersyn Maga, Katey Maga and CJ Maga.

She is preceded in death by her father Richard Ellery; mother Clydean Ellery; sister Ginger Martinez; father-in-law Junior Lee Myers; sisters-in-law Linda Myers and Kathy Myers.

With a passionate love for life and her family she will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. Viewings will be held on Friday evening, May 30, 2025, from 6-8 P.M. and prior to the funeral service at the church from 9:30-10:30 A.M. All services will be held at the Garland Tabernacle (140 W Factory St, Garland). Interment will take place in the Garland Cemetery.
