Ronald Ryan King, 59, passed away on April 12, 2023 in Murray, Utah. He was born to Ronald and Shanna King on October 26, 1963 in Tremonton, Utah. He also cherished his stepparents, Sharon King and Earl Davenport.

Ryan was raised in Tremonton, Utah where he attended Bear River High School. He graduated in 1981. He later attended Utah Technical College, where he earned his degree in mechanics.

Throughout his life, he worked at US Xpress, Primm Leasing, US Foodservice and most recently at King Farms Trucking as a Refrigeration Technician.

Ryan loved sports. While attending Utah Tech he started on the baseball team as a freshman. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, skiing, and sports betting. He had a great love for his furry companions: Missy, Prince, and Boomer.

He is survived by his sister: Kami, who developed a love for 70s rock music by being locked in Ryan’s room as a child, while he blasted his tunes, her husband, Chett, and their children: Ben & Jackson Robins; brother: Brandt, who enjoyed extreme snowmobiling with Ryan throughout their lives, his wife, Jenny, and their children: McKenna, Colby, Sydnee & McKayla King (Lloyd) Bunderson; and Erica (Brad) Archibald, niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepdad; sister, Kathy Jeppesen; and his beloved dogs, Missy and Prince.

Per Ryan’s request, no formal service will be held. His ashes will be placed in the mountains of Las Vegas at a later date.

The family would like to thank the Garland EMS, Bear River Valley Hospital ER and the Coronary ICU at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray for the professional and compassionate care that they showed to Ryan in his final days.
