Heaven gained another beautiful angel, on February 27th, 2026, as she was encircled by the love of her husband and children.
Sharon Jan Jensen Silvester, 75, was born on December 24th, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to a large loving family and sharing a birthday with her Father.
Sharon was married to Troy H. Silvester of Tremonton, Utah on August 2nd 1973, in the Ogden, Utah Temple and they shared 52 years of marriage together.
Sharon attended Ricks college, Idaho State University, Brigham Young University and Weber State University. She went on to become a talented baker at Carl and Don's Grocery, a kindhearted Nutritionist with USU Extension, an inspiring Teacher for local schools where she developed a vocation for Special Education as well as an affable Sales Clerk at her beloved Bargain Outlet, though her most cherished roles were wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
Mother to 8, Grandmother to 35, Great-grandmother to 1 and Step-great-grandmother to 4, Sharon was known for her intrinsic selflessness, her unwavering faith and her altruistic nature. These closely held values are what guided her approach to life and motherhood.
A pillar of her community & devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sharon was revered by all she encountered. Her warm, nurturing spirit, poised presence and inspiring strength remain her most prominent traits, which certainly helped her navigate her many callings held within the church and outside of it.
On June 6th, 2005, Sharon's life drastically changed when she suffered from a brain aneurysm rupture, changing the trajectory of the life that she loved so much and leaving her to face many challenges. Having most of her memory lost and tasked with relearning how to do everything from blinking to walking, Sharon persevered as she always did and lived out another almost 21 years of her life with her family by her side and was able to fulfill lifelong dreams of trips and cruises to Hawaii.
Sharon was and always has been the epitome of benevolence, her mere presence on this earth has undoubtedly made this world a better place and we are blessed to have had her in our lives.
Sharon was preceded in death by her Father Dell H. Jensen (Agnes Erline Jensen), Mother & Father In-Law Edward & Della Silvester, Sister In-Laws Gwen White & Carolann Silvester (Shirrel Silvester) & Granddaughter Candi Jo Wines (Daughter of Camille & Fred Hess and Edward Wines).
Survived by, Camille (Fred) Hess, Clinton (Julianna) Silvester, Amber (Randy) Bryant, Jarom (Jess) Silvester, Tyson (Trish) Silvester, Lacey (Jonathan) Brooks, Chelcee (Hyrum) Davis, Kaitlyn (Pj) Solis and families.
