Stacey Morrill Jubitz, age 62, passed away peacefully at her home on May 16, 2025. Born on April 27, 1963, in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was the beloved daughter of Elvin Dee Morrill and ArVella Eksund Morrill.
Stacey met her lifelong partner, Aaron Jubitz, while attending Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. They were married on June 14, 1983, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple in Utah. Stacey grew up in Sunset, Utah; after marriage Stacey and Aaron moved to Hood River, Oregon where they had four (4) children and built a loving family. After the children became adults Stacey, Aaron, and Thomas relocated to Hurricane, Utah for a nursing position Stacey accepted at Dixie Regional Medical Center, before settling in Tremonton, Utah.
Her educational journey began at Clearfield High School, from which she graduated as part of the Class of 1981. She then attended Ricks College, where she obtained an Associate’s degree in Office Management. After their children moved out of the house, Stacey earned an Associate's degree as a Registered Nurse with honors from Columbia Gorge Community College in 2013.
Stacey was dedicated to her family and her work. She served as an Instructional Aid for the Hood River County School District, worked at the Hood River Care Center, and later practiced as a Registered Nurse at Dixie Regional Medical Center in Orthopedics. Her commitment to helping others was evident in all aspects of her life.
Stacey was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was also honored with the title of Countess in the Dynastic Order of the Green Cross and the Royal Order of Constantine the Great. Her love for card games, particularly Hand & Foot, brought joy and competition to family gatherings; grandkids played with caution.
Stacey is survived by her devoted mother, ArVella Morrill; her cherished husband, Aaron Jubitz; her sons, Thomas, Alex, Derek, George; three daughters-in-law, and 12 grandchildren who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She is preceded in death by her father, Elvin Morrill, and mother-in-law, Joy Jubitz.
