Obituary

On July 25, 2026, at the age of 25, Taygen Belew returned to his Heavenly Father after a life that touched many hearts. Taygen was born in Brigham City, Utah, to Clayton and Kalli Belew. Taygen loved his family and friends, being outdoors, music and concerts, and most all, his dog, Skye. Skye’s loyalty and companionship to Taygen gave new meaning to “man’s best friend.” One of Taygen’s favorite things to do was cruise around in his trucks or his Razor. He wore his tattoos proudly, especially those that honored and kept close the memory of loved ones he had lost.

Taygen was a compassionate soul with a welcoming smile and laid-back nature. He was always willing to help ease another’s burden. With his heart of gold, he made sure those around him always felt special, seen, and included. He had a gift for kindness and was especially caring toward his “nieces and nephews,” who lovingly referred to him as “Uncle Tayg.” Taygen was a kid at heart with a contagious laugh. He was always willing to share his positivity with everyone he met.

Taygen had a strong work ethic and was employed by Nucor. He was excited to begin his career there because he was following in the footsteps of his late father, Clayton, whom he deeply cherished and admired. He was a loving son and brother who cared deeply about his parents and siblings.

Taygen is survived by his mother, Kalli Belew; his brothers, Easton and Carson, and his sister, Mayce.

Taygen was preceded in death by his father, Clayton, and his cousin, Dustin. Although Taygen left this world far too soon, his family finds comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with these and many other loved ones. Their reunion serves as a warm reminder that the bonds of love and family extend beyond this life.

To honor Taygen, we invite all who knew and loved him to join us in commemorating a life filled with kindness, laughter, and genuine love for others. His enthusiasm for life was contagious and will continue to touch the lives of those who knew him forever.

A viewing will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10 A.M.- 12 P.M. (Noon) with a Celebration of Life to follow at Noon. All services will be held at the Bear River City Church in the cultural hall (5870 N 4700 W- Bear River City). Burial will follow at 1 P.M. in the Bear River City Cemetery (5550 N. 4600 W- Brigham City).
