Teri Garn

December 5, 1952 — March 22, 2024

Fielding

Teri Lee Wright Garn passed away on March 22, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on December 5, 1952 in Logan, Utah to Rodney Lorenzo and Valeska Mildred Bailey Wright. As a child, her family moved often and Teri learned to work hard with her siblings (Steve, Janna, Gail, Wanda and Shari). Even as a young girl, she set an example in her family as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Teri did not take the easy way; she took the “Wright” way.

Teri and Jim Roy Garn began their fairytale on June 23, 1972 and will live Happily Ever After for Time and All Eternity.

She was always the star of her own show, as well as the director, writer, actor, and choreographer. These talents came in handy for the many skits and award winning roadshows she produced. In addition, Teri enjoyed sewing, quilting, and planning family reunions. She was always ready for a good road trip, girls trip, or family vacation.

Teri loved being a mother and really LOVED being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was blessed to have a large family, but in reality we were blessed to have her.

She had a deep love of family, service, and worship. Teri gathered family and shared the gospel every chance she got, demonstrating her love of Christ by example. She held various callings in her ward, spent countless hours on family history, and loved her time as an ordinance worker in the Logan and Brigham City Temples.

Teri is survived by her loving husband Jim, her children Jenny (Alan) Christensen, Jared Garn, Tabitha (David) Neal, Misty Garn, Spencer (Dottie) Garn, Tyson (Jamie) Garn, 20 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Noon. In lieu of flowers, we would ask all those who loved and admired Teri to please spend an extra hour or more with your family. Remember, we never know how much time we’ll have together.
