Obituary

Terry Lynn Taylor, aged 76, peacefully passed away at his home in Garland, June 11, 2026. Born in Ogden, Utah, he was the son of Ralph Aaron and Emma Willard Taylor. Raised in Plain City, Terry attended Plain City Elementary, Wahlquist Jr. High, and proudly graduated from Weber High School. He furthered his education at Utah State University.

On September 16, 1971, Terry married Katherine Mae Walker in Salt Lake City, Utah, beginning a 55 year partnership filled with love and companionship.

Terry devoted his working years to various roles, including milking at a dairy farm and positions at Pepsico and Thiokol. Later, he dedicated his efforts as a nut and bolt supplier, ensuring essential supplies for many businesses.

He found joy in the outdoors, especially in hunting, fishing, and camping, with a special fondness for pheasant hunting.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Terry served with dedication as a missionary in Florida. Throughout his life, he served as a Sunday School President, Bishopric Counselor, and Temple Worker, reflecting his deep commitment to his faith.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Mae Walker; his children Tanis (Bryan) Apgood, Heather (Jared) Olsen, Janeen (Paul) Farnsworth, Carrie (Buck) Benson, and Stacy (Kip) Greer; along with 14 cherished grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., with a visitation preceding the service from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. All services will take place at Rudd Funeral Home in Tremonton, Utah. Interment will follow at Providence City Cemetery.
