Tyler Green

March 22, 1976 — June 29, 2022

Tyler J. Green passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the age of 46. Tyler was born March 22, 1976.

Tyler was content with the simple things of life. He wasn’t motivated by accumulating possessions. If he had a truck that ran, a fishing pole, a job to do, a friend or two- he was happy. Tyler was kind and generous to a fault. He didn’t have much, but he would give what ever he had, if he knew there was a need. He learned to work hard and play hard and had some really good roles models to learn from. He learned the skill and art of cement at a young age and he made his living this way. He made many life long friends by working with and for people. Tyler didn’t just work for you, he created relationships through sharing the work of his hands and there are many concrete monuments at the homes of family and friends.

Tyler was known for many things but the four things that he was especially known for was fishing, gathering asparagus, his laugh, and not wearing a shirt.

When Tyler followed an opportunity to live in Montana, he found a job that allowed him to accommodate his passion for fishing. The job was with a furniture moving company and Tyler always loved when he was given the longest delivery routes so that he could stop and fish along the way home. Everyone knows Tyler for his love of fishing! Another wonderful benefit of the job in Montana was that he got to work with his son, Rylee. Living and working together brought them closer and they shared so many interests.

Tyler was famous for his ability to find the asparagus honey hole. He had favorite spots he frequented and he’d pick sackfuls every year. He was always generous in sharing his harvest, but he never told where his secret spots were.

If you heard Tyler’s laugh you would agree that it was just the best! It was uniquely him and you could always count on it. You did not talk to Tyler without hearing that laugh; you looked forward to it and it made you feel happy.

For years Tyler rocked the best mullet and usually could be found without a shirt, typically doing something for someone else.

Tyler had all types of siblings and he loved them all. He was very good to them and they loved him too. Family is not just who you are born to. It’s the relationships you make that makes a family.

Tyler married Misty Long and although they were young, together they created a cute family. The last few years Tyler learned what it was like to be called grandpa. Trystan’s children Skye and Tytan made him the proudest grandpa ever!

Tyler lived life hands on. He was the most kind person. His heart was pure gold. He touched many lives and made a big impact. He was a beautiful soul and his life reminds us that the simple things in life are really the most important.

Tyler is survived by his children- Trystan (Jake) Broadbent, Rylee Green, Brooklyn Bishop; Grandchildren- Skye and Tytan Broadbent; Parents- Shelley (Mike) Olsen; Step Mom- Donetta Green; Grandma- Zelma Nelson Page; Siblings- Marci (Jason) Potter, Jake (Susan) Larson, Jamie (Lynn) Staheli, Wesley (Mallory) Larson, JD (Breanna) Green, Justin (Dorthy) Bechtel, Chelsie Green and many step siblings.

He is welcomed in heaven by his fathers- Jeff Green, Kim Larson; Grandparents- Elwyn Nelson, Louis Larson, Merle Larson, Ralph Green, Beth Green; Siblings- Randy Green, Jennifer Williams Green.
