Valentina "Tina" (Sambrano) Valdez

Valentina "Tina" Sambrano Valdez, age 69, passed away March 26, 2026, in Ogden, Utah. She was born February 14, 1957, in Lubbock, Texas to Bartolo Sambarano and Mary Lou Sambrano.

She lived in various places including Garland, North Ogden and Roy. She graduated from Bear River High School in May of 1974.

Tina worked at Thiokol for 37 years in Promontory, Utah and Clearfield Free Port Thiokol Utah and then the IRS. She retired from the IRS in 2023.

She received several certificates from Thiokol. She was a member of St Henry’s Catholic Church.

Tina is survived by sisters Juanita Sambrano & Diane Harley; brother Victor Sambrano, lots of nieces and nephews and her good friend Ray Valdez.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, three sisters, two brothers, and two nephews.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 5-7 P.M. at Rudd Funeral Home- Tremonton (111 N 100 E- Tremonton).

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 11 A.M. at Santa Ana Church (760 W 600 N- Tremonton) with the interment to follow in the Fielding Cemetery.
