Deweyville-Venna Dawn Rasmussen Page, 78, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, peacefully passed away on March 18, 2009, at her home in Deweyville, Utah, surrounded by her family. Venna was born February 12, 1931 to Reuben Sherman and Carmen Winn Rasmussen in Clarkston, Utah. She was the second of three girls. She was raised on her family’s farm in Clarkston and graduated from North Cache High School. She married her sweetheart, Keith LaMar Page, in the Logan LDS Temple on January 18, 1951. Together they had four sons and one daughter and for the past 53 years made their home in Deweyville. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She compassionately served in many capacities including the Relief Society Presidency and Primary. Above all, Venna was a devoted mother and homemaker, dedicating countless hours to cooking and caring for everyone who entered her home. She never failed to lend a hand to those in need of her help. She loved to read, sew, crochet, quilt, paint crafts, and listen to music. She enjoyed beautiful flowers and being outdoors. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Venna is survived by her children, Kraig (Nancy) Page, Deweyville, UT; Shane (Cindy) Page , Corinne, UT; Eric (Annette) Page, Deweyville, UT; Kelli (Richard) Shaw, Honeyville, UT; Erica Williams, Las Cruces, NM; and her sister Dixie Rasmussen, Torrance, CA; along with 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Venna was preceded in death by her husband, a son Kevrin Dee Page, a sister Wanda Glenn, and her parents. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., at the Riverview/Deweyville LDS Chapel, 10750 N. Hwy, 69, Deweyville, UT. Family and friends may call Sunday, March 22, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Rudd Funeral Home 1234 South Main, Garland, UT and Monday from 9:30-10:40 a.m. at the Riverview/Deweyville Ward Chapel. The family would like to extend their thanks to the caring staff at Mission Care Center in Tremonton, UT and the Willow Glen Care and Rehab Center in Brigham City, UT.
