WADE OREM RHODES June 9th, 1950 – August 29th, 2026

Wade passed away quietly following difficult good-byes from his family and friends.

Wade was born in Tremonton, Utah on June 9th, 1950, and to his parent’s surprise at his birth, there was his twin brother Wayne. They were the fourth and fifth boys born to Afton and Dale Rhodes. Finally their daughter arrived to help keep this pack of boys in line!

Surviving are Wades brothers, Jerry Rhodes (Lorraine), Dan Rhodes (Lois), Dennis Rhodes (Pam), Wayne Rhodes (Jeanette) and sister, Kristine John (David). There are many wonderful kind and caring nieces, nephews and cousins! Wade was preceded in death by both his parents.

Wade was born June 9th, 1950 in Tremonton. Wade graduated from Bear River High School in 1968. Wade wrestled throughout High School and was the wresting team captain. He took third place in State, wrestling his senior year. Wade learned the value of hard work growing up on their family farm before starting to work at the U & I Sugar Factory in Garland. His next jobs included working in Commercial & Industrial Construction, traveling to various jobs throughout the country. Work included structure and erection of mine processing systems at plants such as vertical kilns and other processing plants. His career included positions at construction companies such as R.W. Taylor Steel, Western General Construction and Her Construction, from which he retired in his Supervisory position in 2023.

Wade was married to Vicki Allred in 1972 and later divorced. They were blessed with two boys, Kirby Wade Rhodes (Malinda) and Shelby Dale Rhodes. Wade’s wonderful grandchildren are Garett Rhodes, (Alyssa) Gabriann Rhodes, Grayden Rhodes, Kash Rhodes, Alexa Nielsen (Ray) and Hannah Williams (Chris Prom). He also has three delightful Great Grandchildren.

Wade loved taking care of his yard and working in his garden. He spent hours in the garden to ensure he could share it with others. Wade will be missed by his family, coworkers and friends.

Visitation will be held: September 12, 2026, from 10 A.M.-12 P.M. at Rudd Funeral Home-Tremonton (111 N 100 E- Tremonton).

Celebration of Life will be held: September 12, 2026, from 4-6 P.M. at the Golden Spike Trap Club in Brigham City UT. Come share stories and memories and have one last drink with Wade.
