Warner (Warren) Franklin Stoddard passed away on December 19, 2025, in his home at the age of 91 in Collinston, Utah.

Born on August 7, 1934, in Hooper, Utah in his family home where he was raised. He attended Davis High School. Warner dedicated his life to his family and his passion for water well drilling and playing his many guitars. He had a keen love for the old-time country western music.

Warner was a self-taught master guitarist, forming the family band Windy Hollow and the Rainbow Wranglers. He often collaborated with the Westernaires. He played for many senior centers and many dances throughout the area.

Warner joined the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953 to 1955, receiving an Honorable Discharge for his commendable service. While in the service he was trained to operate heavy equipment which was another one of his passions throughout his life.

Post-military, he founded and operated W.F. Stoddard Drilling, where he remained self-employed for 34 years with an enduring commitment to his craft and community.

He is survived by his wife, Twilla May Reeder Stoddard; children, Ron Stoddard (Jean) of Honeyville, Debra Ann Kugler (John) of Brigham City, step-children Troy Scott (Jodi) of Elwood, Natalie Jensen (Kent) of Perry, Leisha Johnson (Barry) of Santaquin, Stephanie Garza (Eddy) of Brigham City, and Spencer Scott (Mandy) of Cheyenne, WY and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Warner will be remembered for his genuine nature as a loving husband and father, never speaking ill of anyone.

Warner was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Eloise Stoddard, and his three children: Kristy Kay Hansen, Thomas Dale Stoddard and Dixie Sue Benson.

A service to honor Warner’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the Beaver Dam LDS Church, located at 16025 North Beaver Dam Road, Collinston, UT 84306. A viewing will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 12:00 p.m., Noon. Interment will be at the Millville-Nibley Cemetery, Millville, Utah.
