Wendy Slagowski

Wendy Slagowski, 61, passed away on July 18, 2017 at the University of Utah Hospital. She was born on September 28, 1955 in Lynwood, California. Her parents were Glenn Rozell Riddle and Joan Hinkle. Wendy was raised in Lynwood, California, and lived in Tooele, Utah, Lyman, Wyoming, Richmond, Utah, Pocatello, Idaho, and most recently in Fielding, Utah. While in Lyman she married Milton Richard Slagowski Jr. on November 10, 1973.

Wendy was a high school graduate, and worked as a manufacturing laborer and as the owner/operator of a dessert business. She retired from H.J. Heinz Co. in 2002.

Wendy was a loving mother, devoted wife, and fierce friend. She was all about friends and family.

Wendy is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was sealed to her husband in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 16, 1975.

Wendy is survived by her husband; son, Joshua Steven Slagowski; daughter, Mandee Lin Burt; brother, Wesley Hinkle; sister Kelly Riddle; and mother, Joan Hinkle.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Riddle; and her father, Glenn Rozell Riddle. Wendy was also preceded in death by her beloved aunt and uncle, Gwenvere and Vincent Peterson.

A private family service will be held.
